Cloud 9!

I've always wanted to become a photographer. A frustrated photographer, perhaps. I have no finances to buy digital cameras, or the now-trending SLR cameras, which capture better, clearer images. I needed to stick to my mobile phone just to capture images that I think, would not happen again. These pictures, though not that magnificent, can really show my love to take pictures.

TheToiletThoughts?

So, why TheToiletThoughts?

I created this blog just this April, and have decided to continue this blog as long as I can. I have created several blogs before, and upon visiting them again, I saw that I barely made a very sensible post on them. But, now, it's something I will take care of. I'm serious this time.

To my "future":

Thank you for waiting for me all this time. I could've met someone else, but I thank God that He gave me you. I have long prepared for this moment. Several people have already walked past my life, but you have stayed and are unable to walk away.

"Wala nakong load eh!"
In this world dominated today by electronic communication, telecommunication and the internet, we cannot deny that there is also a need of monetary expenses for us to continue enjoying these services, and this may occupy a significant area of our budget. That's OK if you're earning several pesos a month, but if you're a student, or a low-income worker? That's a very major thing to consider.

You.. Got Talent?

In our age of increasing appreciation to the arts, talents and entertainment, one must (should I really say must?) have at least one talent for us to show everyone that we are not left behind. Well, I'm pretty sure that every one of us has his/her own talent, some are not just OK with showing it to others, but deep inside, they have one that may surprise us.

Happy ____________ Day!

Everyone in this country, be it a normal person, working person, broadcasters, TV and radio personalities say that this day is our "Independence Day." Yes, according to history, this day is when our first president, Emilio Aguinaldo, proclaimed that we are free from American rule.

Yes. We are free back then, but are we really free now?

So, what's with the white uniform?

Bakit hindi mo na lang kasi ako pinag-accountancy, edi sana, may maayos na akong trabaho ka-graduate ko.(Why didn't you have me take Accountancy instead, as I might have a stable job right after I graduate.)

This one is a statement that I told my mother as I have reached my third year in college. I was struck by anger with the realization that the green pasture promised for nurses is now a fantasy. Jobless nurses, my sister still a volunteer (at that time), volunteer nurses, the so called "nurse trainees" (who pay hospitals to give them work experience), and those who are forced to work as call center agents - these ideas have enlightened me that we are oversupplied, and the previously open-doors of other countries have closed as well.
